Who Can Book the Lodge?

Suitable for: School groups, Youth Groups, Tramping and Outdoor Activity Clubs, Church Groups, Corporate training, Training and Workshops, Retreats and Family get together's.  (Sorry no parties, functions or weddings).

Prices

For use of lodge (self-catering), grounds & free activities

School & Youth Groups
Day Use Only
8 am to 4 pm
Group size up to 50 -  $320 Extras $3.00 per person
 
Overnight Use
Friday - Sunday (2 nights min) or Weekdays (1 night min)
Groups of up 20 people - $360 per night – extras $18 pp per night
 Day visitors only (do not stay overnight) $9pp
 
Adult Groups
Day Use Only 8 am to 4 pm
Group size up to 50 -  $380 Extras $9 per person

Overnight Use 
Friday - Sunday (2 nights min) or Weekdays (1 night min)
Groups of up 10 people - $420 per night – extras $42 pp per night
 Day visitors only (do not stay overnight) $18

2 self-contained units – each sleep 4 people – 2 bunk beds
Kitchenette/separate bathroom/shower

Rubbish removal
Groups are requested to take all rubbish away with them. However, if necessary, we
can dispose of rubbish; $10.00 per bag. 

Lodge Cleaning 
Lodge must be cleaned by group prior to departure – all cleaning equipment provided.
Warden will check that clean meets standard – or additional fees will apply.
Lodge clean - $200
Unit Clean - $50 each

Brazier
First load of firewood complimentary, Additional loads: $10.00 each
 
Activities
On site activities: orienteering/ABL/Confidence/Frisbee Golf etc – FREE
Adventure Activities – contact Warden for prices or visit www.firststepoutdoors.com our activity providers

​Covid-19 Information

​We can offer you the following piece of mind:
  • All bookings can be transferred if dates are cancelled due to Nationwide or Regional Lockdowns
  • We can reimburse bonds if your trip is cancelled due to Nationwide or Regional Lockdowns
  • If you are a school group = the new EOTC Guidlines are now in place to ensure that you can still attend camps 
  • ​Please contact us to discuss any vaccine passport requirements (this does not apply to school camps)
  • We can operate camps - we have policies and procedures in place to ensure your camp is safe and managed to MOE and MOH standards
  • We clean the lodge to a high standard between groups and ensure that we meet all cleaning fulfilments and protocol

From 1 hour loop walks to overnight camping - there are walks to suit all levels.
